Thanks to all of you for your comments. The specs are as follows: Canon 20D, f5.6, ISO 400, 400mm, 1/1600, Aperture Priority, Evaluation metering, manual focus. I've been taking in-flight shots for a while now. It takes some practice and a lot of patience. Try to catch them when they hover.
Here is an in-flight dragonfly. It's not quite as good, but they are a bit quicker and harder to capture.

Sorry. The lens on the draonfly is a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L series, and the bee is the same except with the Canon 2X extender II.

But one thing you should consider, change your screenname. There is allot of lookers here. Unless of coarse you like emails.
