HI all,
I am currently using a CRT monitor because I like the display I get compared to what I see when I use an LCD. I would like to buy a second monitor for my computer and in order to keep the clutter on my desk down I am leaning towards an LCD screen.
So before I start my research I'd like to hear what you look for in a good monitor.
Some questions that come to mind are:
What contrast ratios are acceptable to you?
Are there any brands I should stay away from?
Do you ever use a swivel screen? A friend of mine has a Samsung 19" with this ability but never uses it that way.
I use my desktop for work, spreadsheets & email mostly. I also use photoshop and premiere. Two displays would make for lots of room and I am pretty excited about setting up a second one.
Thanks in advance for your input.
