Hello all..
I am back again with what seems to be the same problem! Infrared!!!!!! I seem to have tried everything and I just don't have any success. Here are the basics...I have a G2 and I am using the lensmate with the Hoya IR filter. I tried ISO on auto and 400....I shot under P, under black and white, I tried manual as well. No matter what I seem to do I get the same two results, either the photo's are extremely dark to black or a blood, murky red. I am shooting on bright bright days so I just don't know what I am doing wrong! I have seen some really beautiful photos in IR. My goal eventually is to create the beautiful photo's I seen around with the purples and black and white. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
Lai Lai

i dont personally use an IR filter, but from what i gathered, an IR filter is simply a DEEP RED filter, made to work with b&w film. when using it with digital, i think you have to process the photo in photoshop after, such as making it a grayscale photo.. i believe that is the process?
