Here are a few pics that I wanted to share of a recent holiday to the south west of Western Australia. The kangaroo pic was taken in the bush, just outside our camping spot.

The alpaca and goat pics were taken at an animal farm. The goat is standing on my daughter's back :)

Hmmmm, is this better than having a monkey on your back?

I especially like the alpaca too. The eyes seem to make up most of the head. Cute pug face too.

Wow I never seen an Alpaca, even though a buddy of mine sells things made from it. Beautiful animal and yes big eyes! Very cool.

Awwwwww, they are too gorgeous to make stuff out of. I guess that they get farmed like many animals :(

Thanks everyone for the lovely coments :)

great photos. I don't think you need worry about the fate of the Alpacas, they're very expensive in Australia and as far as I know are only kept for their wool. At their prices you'd have to be extremely wealthy (and callous) to contemplate an Alpaca steak!
