I came across this wonderfully restored 1959 Ford last evening. I believe it's a Galaxie Fairlane. The owner and his wife were nice enough to let me snap a few photos while they were sorting out the wiring inside the car. Also tucked away inside the garage was a restored 1932 Dodge Pickup painted in Coca Cola livery.

Nice catch. One of the few years at that time that Ford outsold Chevy.

Thanks, I was out looking for some landscapes and found this while waiting at a stop light(in a town with only one stop light). Couldn't pass up the opportunity.

1959 -when the future was looking bright for chromium business..Hey if you got some extra money laying around, by shares in Chrome, cause in 5 years cars will have chrome bumpers again. Chrome is back in once more.

Very nice.
It takes me back.....my wife and I honeymooned in a '58 Ford. At $.35 per gallon, we almost went broke buying gas for that boat.

Too bad you didn't get a shot of the Dodge pickup.

Thanks, I did take a few of the Dodge, but it was very dark and I only have the pop-up flash.
