A nice simple Galaxy image : M33

My secondary target for the night after my main imaging has to stop due to location.

Grabbed a few hours over the last two nights and a quick edit in PS.

Captured on SkyWatcher EvoStar Pro ED120 and EOS 350D Baader modded at 900mm F7.5

About 2.5 hours worth of 5min stacks at ISO 800

Very nice! You have those active star forming regions showing through splendidly!

BTW are you autoguiding, and if so with what and what length subs.
You need to put more detail of your imaging setup when posting please!

EQ6 Pro Goto Mount
SkyWatcher EvoStar Pro ED120 Diamond Black imaging scope with EOS 350D Baader filter modded with Astronomik CLS LP clip filter.
Guided via SkyWatcher ED80 ProII with QHY5 guide cam and PHD software.

Scopes are mounted Side by Side with an ADM vixen saddle.

Stacks are 5 mins each at ISO 800 and stacked with DSS. Darks, flats and dark flats added as needed.

This image was about 2.5 hour worth of 5 min subs.


Pretty much all my images are using this method. Sometimes slightly longer subs, maybe upto 8 mins.

Here is a piccie with an extra Sony DSLR700 with Sigma 500mm piggybacked for the meteor shower this year.
