It seems so! The screen looks so little there! And that eyecup is VERY MUCH like the 1D Series' one... I imagine it will be as big as that one, too!

I know this 15-85 will replace my 17-85... I hope this lens fixes this the wide end problems of the 17-85..
I also noticed that Canon is not using the old gold ring ultrasonic badging.. New design makes it look like the 18-55...

If this is right, then the 7D will be a 1.6x Crop, not a 1.3 like some rumors have it.
Notice the lens on it.

Does it not seem strange to people that they have the 7D paired with a variable aperture cheapish lens? Shouldn't this lens (15-85) be the kit lens for the xxD series, and a great lens like the 17-55 some with a semi-pro body such as the 7D?
If the 5D mkII is paired with an L, then the 1.6x 7D should be able to be paired with the most L-like EF-S Canon makes.

I wonder what the oval thing on the handgrip under the shutter button is, if that's a real photo.

Looks like an IR sensor for the remote triggers.

When I first saw the new 18-135mm lens, i thought it was photoshopped from the 55-250mm lens :P

the oval thing must be the new location of the direct print button, real handy right where your first finger is you wouldn't even have to drop the camera from your eye
