Hey everyone! I wanted to "make" something for my mom for her birthday that's coming up. She is a very southern lady and loves magnolias. I took some pictures of a blossom in our front yard so I thought i would put together a collage of sorts to have mounted and framed for her.
This is what I came up with. What do you think? No. 1 and no. 3 magnolias look like almost opposites, but were 2 different pictures. Do they look too similiar?
It will be an 8x12 print that I will have mounted on matte board at Mpix.
Thanks in advance for your time.

I think it is beautiful! The frame background matches the Magnolias well. That reminds me of my summer in Canton and Yazoo City.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys so very much! One quick question, do you think the text and images are too close to the sides? Like when its framed, will it cut it off. I hate that!

To be safe, you might want to move them in a little. Doubt it would hurt. Beautiful collage!

Looks good! You could just increase the canvas size a bit in PS.

HI Scott, good point. The images are actually really pretty so I guess I am cutting them short by not including more of them. I may have to rethink my design. Thanks alot! I thought I was ready to get the thing printed! :)

Here's an alternative, just to help you think about the changes. ;-)

Hey Thanks, that is an idea. And that center one was my favorite. I will have to give this some thought. Any other ideas are welcome.
Thanks!

Lovely shots, are your Magnolias still flowering over there in the US as ours here dropped a while back?
I like PhotosGuy's version, the text is far too big in your original draft.
What a lovely idea for a birthday present!
