Sites like the NYPost (http://www.nypost.com/news/nationalnews/46373.htm) are reporting that employers will loose an estimated $627 million to employees calling off to play hookey because of the opening of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

Lazy bums, get to work! I did.

And I’m obviously working very hard…..

Sorry, this post would normally go into a geekier forum, but you have all won me over and this is the only forum I frequent any more.

The wife is "sick" at home.

I would probably, but trying to save vacation time for July when we're going to Glatier National Park.

Just come in from watching it over here in the UK. Didn't have to go sick either - still recovering from a double fracture to my left leg and currently on part-time 'recuperative' duties at work (ie desk-bound).

It places everything in place re episodes 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 - bloody great film!

You must've went to a theater cloaser than I did!

We went to a theater with 30 screens, all of which were sold out with a 00:01 showing! Leaving the sow afterwards was like trying to leave a Cubs game, or a concert event.

Yes I just have 10-15 minute drive with taxi from Copenhagens best and biggest theater.

My wife actually was sick so we'll just go see it this weekend.

Maybe. What's it about anyway?

:-D

That and a few more fart jokes I hope. Good old George.

I wonder if any of these Star Wars flu people said they'd come down with a case of the Midichlorians?

Originally my girlfriend and I agreed to wait til 2 weeks has passed before seeing episode 3 ( she hates crowds, and I'm not in a rush to see it ). But one flaw is , she doesnt like my yougest brother steven ( who is like 13 ) , and apparently he convinced my mom to skip school to see the 9:30am showing, after my girlfriend hears of this, she gets the 12:01am tickets, just because she wanted something to brag to my little brother about.

My wife hasn't seen any of them either. I remember going to the movie theater when I was 7 to go see the first one. I have seen all of the original 3 movies at the theater, Havent seen ANY of the new 3 :o

I'm just going to wait until the new one is on video and then rent all 6. Then I'll have a Star Wars marathon and make my wife watch them all at once ;)

We went with 12 friends to a theater that's way north of where I live, so it was almost 4:00 when I got home. Then the thunderstorm started!

The 7:30 alarm came way to early! I survived though, and we had a fun time, so it was worth it!
