I am new to the A85 and really enjoy it. I was wondering if it is possible to connect large lenses to this camera. That is a 70-200mm lense. Is there any kind of adapter that allows for this??? I already have the canon snap-on 52mm adapter and a 2x teleconverter. Please help.
Thanks,
trainman

No. The Canon SLR lenses can't be used on the A85 (except for macro work; see the sticky).

Apart from Jon's advice the only lens you can attach is a teleconverter lens TC - DC52, Wide converter WC - DC52. You will also need the adapter. These are mentioned in the manual for your particular model or if you do not have a manual you can download from the Canon website. The adapter is also handy for attaching 52mm filters. I leave my adapter on all the time with a UV filter attached. However, do not leave the adapter on if using the flash, it blocks out the bottom right hand side of the photo.
