wOOt - New A60 for $70 CDN!

Although long since discontinued, some friends of mine who own a camera store were trying to unload a new A60. They, literally, could not give it away. Nobody wants a 2 MP cam. For my purposes as an insurance agent, it's ideal - houses, oil tanks, etc. It has a fast f/2.8 at the short end, wide enough for most applications, and uses cheap AA cells.

The pics are actually very good, look fine for emailing and I can knock off quality 4x6's.

The build quality and features are not in the same league as my G6, but, for the price, what the heck!

Guess the A60 isn't that exciting a digicam. LOL.

My sister got the A70 two years ago. I like it I can imagine the A60 is very similar

I'd kill for one for $70 :D My friend is trying to get into photography, he's played with my Drebel and loved it. Now he's looking for a digicam. I tried to convince him to go film, true SLR... but he wants digital. Anyway, I suggested one of these A-series. Right now he's saving up for a A510... but if he could have gotten the A70 for $70, that would've been a steal :D
