Memphis Belle B17 Bomber. Seven exposure HDR taken at a local air show this past weekend. I had to do a bit of cloning to get rid of the "garbage".
Too many people were milling around. I could not get the entire craft in the frame. Besides, you would not be able to make out the awesome artwork on the cockpit if I pulled that far back.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks.

I like it except that the grass is so much brighter than the sky.

Thank you KenVP, Witharebelyell, Sas8888, and Polarbare.
It was a very overcast sky. In the HDR shot the grass is slightly darker, but pretty close, to what it looks like in a regular exposed shot. The biggest difference is in the sky.

well done, planes seem to make a good hdr subject

I guess the grass could be de-saturated a little with photoshop.

I have two options available when I run photomatix. Generate HDR image and Exposure blending. What is the difference technically? Thanks.

im no pro,but from my understanding.its really only needed if the shot has a big difference in exposures. it just blends 3 or 4 (or however many u need to get proper exposures of everything) of the same shot to get an even amount of exposure throughout the whole photo.
why not just use lightroom and go over the dark areas with the little exposure brush?idk, probably alot cleaner using the blending is my guess. ive honestly never used it.
