A local paper wants to publish one or 2 of my photos from Fridays unexpected airshow (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=744739).http://www.mygreatretreat.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif No money but I get a photo credit and a few free copies http://www.mygreatretreat.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I am so excited!!!! This is my first time. :p Any advice? They asked me to send in the high res copies but didn't specify which and I won't send in the whole folder. So I am waiting to hear back. Is there anything I should know for those that have done this before?

I think all of us go through that... doint it once for the excitement is great...but thats all.... dont give your photos away...

Make sure they tell you what photo credit they plan on using. I was offered photo credit, and agreed to it thinking it would be good advertising. When the paper ran my photo credit was: "submitted photo". Grrrrrrrrr. Never again will I fall for it.
