Hi everyone,

I took a bunch of photos at a local park the other day, and I decided to try my hand at some post-processing in the GIMP (this is my first foray into the world beyond just cropping and resizing!). I'm curious to see how you think I did.

Any comments and suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks in advance!

Note: I posted a couple other pictures from this park in the Photo Sharing forum (link (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74179)).

I think it looks more natural the way you modified it than in the original. Nice job.

I like the second one as well. Good job with the post...

In a way I like both. Very confusing ha! :D

I mean, the first looks more natural. The second looks nice but a little heavily processed...just a little.

So how about something in between :D ..little less on color saturation.

Good call on the cropping down below.

I think aam12234 is right.

The colour saturation does seem a little excessive, and I think something in between would look better.

I'm just getting started on post processing too, and realise it can be quite difficult to get right.

Keep plugging away. I'm sure we can both get there eventually, with a little help from the forum.
