Here are a few pics from the NPC Contra Costa this past weekend. It gave me a chance to play with the new 70-200 2.8IS. What a great lens!!!

I was getting between 1/60-1/125. I love that lens!!! Of course there are primes still to get............

What ISO were you using? It sounds like the theatre was much darker than the ones I've been attending lately.
They've really bumped up the lighting at the shows here this past year, and I've been able to get over 1/1000s routinely at ISO800-ISO1600 at F2 - F2.8.
That really doesn't matter though if there are no fitness routines, and when you have IS for the figure, and fitness non-routine rounds.
Your exposures look very good!

Thanks!!! I was a lot happier with the exposures this time. I used iso 400, I was trying for as noise free images as I could. The pics are straight out of C1 Pro, only sharpening in the program before converting to jpeg.

Great shots! Even though I don't care for that look on a woman, I certainly admire the dedication it takes them to get and stay in that shape!
