Are they in an outdoor pond? How big are they? I've got three fantails in a 56 gallon aquarium, and it seems like they will NEVER grow, LOL. Yours look fat and happy.

They get Hikari pellets specifically formulated for goldfish. I also clean about 25-40% of the water every week, including vacuuming the gravel. Ammonia is zero, along with nitrItes. NitrAtes are around 5-10 ppm. There is a heater, but it is set as low as it will go, and the temp usually runs about 75 in the summer because that's what our house is at. I love goldies, and used to have them as a kid. I know they require a lot of room, and so I will not ever add any more to the tank they are in. They are very happy and friendly, that's for sure.
