Hey I finally got it! Its awsome but is it suppose to be somewhat loose, like a snap on snap off kind of thing? I found out that when i reach into my camera bag and take the camera out itll tend to fall off.

Hi Andy,
I have a lens tube from lensmateonline for my S1 IS and it is bayonet fit; doesn't fall off. Did you press the bezel release button beside the lens and twist the lens tube on?
Mine's been rockin' for year, love it!

Matt, the adapter for the SX10 is a completely different thing than what you have on your S1. However, mine fits good, and doesn't fall off.

The only black one I see is the black uv filter, did you mean it? Was it the Hoya HMC Circular Polarizer (6 coats) or Hoya Linear Polarizer (double coated) they have the moose one but it's been out of stock for a while so I don't think you have it.
I'm still trying to decide what filter I want to buy and the price I can afford vs quality of filter. When you're able to test it do you mind posting you results? thanks in advance if your able to.

After you have purchased the Lensmate adapter i suggest you purchase or consider the below polarizer from these folks since they are very reliable & trustworthy, plus the best prices i have found. I ordered a Hoya HD Clear Protective 58MM lens and the below Hoya HD Polarizer and they both work great on the SX10:

Most, if not all of these accessories, can often be had from Deal Extreme (http://www.dealextreme.com/), at a fraction of the prices.
I had an S3IS, and found DX's prices to be fantastic.
All-aluminum adapter tubes for $5 each, with fit and finish easily comparable
to Lensmate's offerings. Various filters and other accessories are also available.
All in all, DX offers dirt-cheap prices for very decent products.
Shipping on everything is free.
If you can wait the 2 to 3 weeks it takes to be sent from Hong Kong, you will NOT
be disappointed.
*I am not affiliated with DX; just a happy customer*

Do some comparison shopping online and check this place out for your filters.......... I suggest Hoya Digital. The Circular Polarizing filter will free wheel in the Lensmate Mount.. That's the way it suppose to work. Also buy a pair of filter wrenches.. their worth it...
