wow, the color versions are wonderful as well, I honestly can't decide which I like better... I love both for different reasons. I love your b&w conversion job.
Thanks for the more info, makes me continue to wonder if I want to eventually setup my own small "studio" setting for some shots

Very nice stuff. You hit the light, color, composition, saturation, everything for me. And I definitely prefer the color versions.

#3 gets my vote. Very lovely face expression and the dress is perfect for B&W, of course imho. ;)

Hi Rookie, Looks like a nice set, albeit a bit dark. I like them all, but tend to lean towards #3. :D
From the looks of Her Pose's, She's either done this before, and is an experienced model, or, She's just a natural at it. I think you should do another shoot with Her. ;)
BTW, The color versions look GREAT!

#6 is my favorite with #1 being a close second. For me in portraits I need to clearly see the eyes which is why #6 wins out.

The b&w conversions of the first 3 are amazing! I wish I could do monochrome that well.
The color versions are just as good. I kind find anything to critique. They are just so good.
This second batch above are also just as amazing! Great work!
PS. what method do you use for the b&w conversion on the first 3 if you dont mind me asking?

In color or bw, if you turn her http://hometown.aol.com/rhfrancoeur/k2.jpg to the right(facing the photo), and get some light on her face, you got something good going in that one. Anyway, very good job.

The B&W was simply converted to grayscale thats all I did the results are a carry over from the contrast of the original and the dress took on a great look

stupendous! Just goes to show that if you have a great picture to start with, less post processing is needed.
