Took these in the studio last week, would love to get some feedback. These were shot with the 50d and 17-55 and a 70-200.


1. Bouncy Balls.. a composite of 2 images. Each one had about 8 balls in it, 1 second shutter speed

Thanks, The cups were set on glass in front of a black background, the balls were bounced off of a table ( cropped out), the rest was shot in a fish tank, everything was done in front of a black cyc wall. Images were shot at 1/250 f8-f11, The light was on the left side of the tank and i put a reflector on the right side of the tank for some of the shots.

It was incredibly fun and I can't wait to do it again.

Beautifully done Goodstein - you've captured these in a unique way that photographers don't usually consider. I love the crisp, sharp, fresh nature of each. The side lighting really adds a nice three dimensional effect to them. - Stu

UGH, thanks a LOT!! Now I'm gonna have to go buy a fish tank! *sigh*
