This is my first time every taking pictures with a non point and shoot camera.
My main goal was to practice my aperture/shutter speeds, but critique on the composition is just as wanted.
Thanks for looking!
These were taken with a Canon Ae1 program and the standard canon 50mm Lens.
I got them processed to a picture cd so i could post them on the web.
There are about 10 pictures in the album

Not bad for a start, bu they look to be overexposed or washed out
Being film and transfered to CD could have been the problem but not sure.

Oh, i forgot to mention one problem, the camera was opened for half a second when the film wasn't rewound, some of the pictures were totally ruined, but these were the ones i salvaged.

Hmm, they look very professional. Are you here to advertise your old work?

There is something missing here. Either you have an excellent PS skills or it's a..what do you call them...the automated PS things.
In any case, this VW photo is very special. Very!

Well, whatever it is, that VW photo is very special. It's a classic (the photo not the car).

I shot a second roll today at a lego robotics competition, but decided on getting prints and buying a scanner to scan them in rather than paying gobbs of money for a cd. Anyone have any recomendations on a cheap reliable scanner?

You can pick up a used rebel for about $500.00, it would be cheaper for you in the very short run. :D
