Pink Moon

The wildfires in California as well as some local ones are having an effect on the atmosphere. Around 730 I stepped out back tonight and seen this:

Someone else took some pink/red photos of the moon a year or two ago when there were the last lot of California wild fires. Hope you're okay out there.

I believe that was me from 08/10/09, it was really red from the fires in Northern California up around the shasta area. The shot I took was from the Los Altos hills in the SF Bay Area. I only had my 70-200 f4 with me so it is a bit small.

After it got darker, the pink color turned orange. It was a bit strange
