Editing the video clips

I was wondering how to go about editing the video clips that are taken on my G3. I have tried to use adobe premiere but it will not allow me to import the clip. says that this compression is not supported. Is there a way to save the clip in an uncrompressed format or a format that premiere will accept ? Surely there must a way to do this.
Any ideas ?

You need the picvideo mjpeg codec.
Not sure how else it would be done though
