dear all,
i have a problem regarding photography in microbiology - maybe somebody of you can give me a tip.
i have to take pictures of agar plates which have been fully overgrown by bacteria, but in some areas inhibition zones without growth can be seen (due to antibiotics). can somebody give me a tip what is the best way to take pics of that stuff? the problem is: i need a dark background to see the halo, the surface of the agar is wet = shiny, on light underground or seen through light - you see nothing. i use a sony digital cam (cybershot). any ideas?
thanx
