First post in Astronomy - Jupiter

Hi all,

This is my first post in this section and hopefully not my last. :)

Thought I'd have a go at Jupiter since it's easy for me to find.

Took this using my Sigma 300-800 with 2x extender.

I found that the focus was a nightmare as my 20d does not have liveview.

This was the best I got from that night. Taken on the 30th of August 2009

Am looking forward to trying again.

That's really not bad at all...that lens must be a monster!!

I agree , must be a monster ! Reminds me of the path i have been taking . Even way back starting with film . This is really good tho especially being first time and with a single camera & lens .
