I found this in the botanical building today. I think it's slightly out of focus though, but I liked the pattern.

Very nice pattern and colors but the water drops are a bit distracting IMO.

I too see this as out of focus and my eye keeps getting drawn to the bright green leaf in the upper left corner. This leaf is obviously not coral bells heuchera which is the pictured plant.

Perhaps my out of focus eye balls are convolved with the out of focus subject material producing a very sharp virtual image.

It's a fast-moving technology - don't get left behind!

I think that my eyeballs have the same convolution integral function as Bob's eyes since I see sharp edges. Even when viewed at 800% in Photoshop, edges are surprisingly sharp for an image that has been compressed for the web.

All that aside, my opinion is that the advent of high resolution digital photography sometimes places too much emphasis on sharpness just because super sharpness is now possible. Heck, I remember when we sometimes smeared petroleum jelly on skylight filters to soften the edges of images so that they would not be so sharp. I wonder if Photoshop has a petroleum jelly filter effect. :)

Looks like it was taken with a Blackberry.
