I dusted the camera off and went to the Hawk Conservancy near Andover, Hants (UK).

Jeez, those are some huge birds! The images are all pretty blurry, but I'm guessing that was an affect you were trying to get. Keeping the bird sharp while making the ground look like it's rushing by. Nice affect, but my preference is sharp birds, frozen in time. That's just me though

Great shots! Very colorful, and I really wish there was some place like that around here!

Actually I like them, those birds are moving fast and the panning technique give us the feel of speed. It's tough when you're close and those things are flying near ground level, they don't slow down at all! I love Neeeoooowwww.jpg
