Thx Roger, the pics were impressive. I'm looking at the 250D. So on a my 18-55MM lens I can get 35% lifesize? Your chart says .35-.20 for 50MM. Is that about right?

Close-up lenses were really meant to be used on telephoto lenses. 250D is quality & meant to be used on a quality lens. 250D & 500D are good to have. Very portable, no loss of light. Not exactly cheap but can give you a little more power/magnification with the right set-up. I have 3, don't always use them but it is nice to know I could have.
