Wedding Album Pricing

I have joined AsukaBook USA and have reviewed their pricing.

For those of you who use/have used them can I ask what your markup is? Or for that matter any album supplier and give a % markup.

I understand everyone will have different markups based on how much time you put into them, the quality of your work, your overall pricing structure etc. but I am just looking for a ballpark to start with.

I own a retail store (unrelated to photography) and I know our industry has a standard +/-. As I said I'm just looking for a starting point.

I did a search and didn't find much info.

If you don't feel comfortable posting it publicly a private message would be great.

I doubt you'll find any pros willing to post markups on a public website. I don't charge a markup exactly, I know how long it takes and charge for my time.

btw Asuka make books, not albums. The easiest distinction is to say albums page are rigid, book pages are flexible.

Thanks Tim. I hadn't looked closely enough at whether Asuka offered both Books and Albums but I now see it's just books.

I had assumed most would not post publicly but I appreciate the few private messages I received.

I was just looking for a starting point. I am trying to put it all together in a business plan.

First wedding is this weekend, as a second shooter.
