I've seen so many awesome shots of the night sky I figured I'd give it a go last weekend on my hike up Mt. Whitney.
Was only planning on seeing the moon but it disappeared rather quickly after sunset so I tried my hand at some stars also.
The moon pics were with the 55-250 and the stars with the kit lens.
I see I need to do a better job of locating the north star but is there anything else that needs improvement? I'll be heading up to Yosemite this weekend for another try.
