Create new folder on memory card for privacy

Hello.

I have Canon IXUS 80 IS camera. I have many images on the camera's memory card.

I want to create a new folder on memory card and put some pictures there as in they should not be displayed when normal viewing of images. To see those images, I shall go to that specific folder to see them, to protect those pictures from others. Is it possible? If there's any way other way, please tell me about it.

I want to keep some old pictures on my camera and others should not be able to see it when they just browse the recently taken pictures.

I looked in my IXUS 950 manual to see if any privacy is available. Regrettably I did not find any. There is provision for creating a new folder using the SetUp menu but I could not find how to make it password protected for privacy. The only option I came across was for protection from accidental erasure.

It may be an idea to speak to Canon Customer Service if they have any suggestion.
