About how many pictures can an A85 or A70 take before breaking? In other words how long is the life expectancy of this cameera (A85)?

No Idea about the A85 buts as a guide my Ixus V from 2001 took 9786 pictures before it's retirement last month. No issues at all, but then it is built like a brick sh*thouse.

Yeah - I'm with this camera till it breaks cause my parents won't let me spend the money for a DSLR because "I already have a camera" and I'm deff not gonna break it on purpose cause I bought it awhile ago and I have lenses flash, etc I paid for it.
