I have had my S30 for 2 years now and love it!
However, over time 3 of the external screws have disappeared over the
years. Not a huge deal except I want to sell my camera to upgrade
to an S60 and would like the camera to have all it's screws.
Anyone know where I can get some replacement screws for a good price?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,

PS. Is this a common problem with this camera?

Did you check Canon's website? or Call them and get the part number then google it. (I don't know if screws have part numbers though)

Yeah I went to there site and emailed their tech support.
I was given an 800 number to call to get a part number, but they aren't open till Monday.
I guess I mainly posted this question to find out if other people have had similar
problems with there S30s.

I have the same problem with my S50. The same body style as S30 I think.
Let me know how this turns out. I kind of gave up when I was told that I had to call
there service center just to order a couple of screws. I am always too busy during normal business hours.

The screws that came out of my S50 were the ones on the bottom near the tripod mount hole. Is this where your S30 screws are missing from

Have you thoroughly checked your camera bag? Those small screws could still be inside. Try using a magnet, you may be surprised.

I have the SAME problem. Defective ring a bell. If anyone finds out where to get the screws, that would be fantastic. Thanks.
