I know the whole megapixel debate has been used and used over again, especially when trying to determine what camera you should get, or better yet, if you should even bother upgrading. This is my approach on the topic, spured from a question by a fellow photog.

First of all the sensor size determines the MP so it would not be the same sensor, therefore your article makes no sense and is full of holes.
