For Credentials to the NFL International Series 2009.
Patriots @ Buccanneers...Wembley Stadium, London "England"
Oct 25th @ 1pm ET (which is 5pm PROPER time)
Let's all hope I get the credentials this year...i've even selected a decent game to do on the Saturday in the hope that i'll be in London!
Last year I missed out as I was a priority place 3 lower than the maximum credentialed numbers.
James.

Good luck, hope you get to shoot it. Let's hope it doesn't rain and mess up the pitch as much as it did last time!

I'm not fussed about the pitch, i'm just looking forward to getting the chance to have 300lbs of pro-footballer charging at me!!!
Should be a good one if I get the chance to go. Hopefully they'll look kindly on the application this time, a lot more US-themed sports covered by me this year so you never know.
I've applied for the NBA Euro game as well...have to wait and see on that too.

Didn't know the NBA was holding a game in Europe this year. Although I haven't really followed it for two or three seasons. Good luck for that one too ;)
It would be good if you could get both because not only will it be a great experience but it can only help you for the future in applying for more jobs or even someone seeing what you've done and realising that you've got a bit of talent when given the chance!

If you have to ask, you'll never know! :p
Seriously though, search and you shall find the answers.

Yeah, Bulls v Jazz this year, Oct 6th at The O2 London.
Should be an excellent game, been doing British Basketball but never anything this size before!

Honestly if you don't know you probably shouldn't bother. In order to have any kind of a chance you need to be working for a media outlet of some sort, whether they're sending you as a consistent employee or a freelancer, and if that is your case then they should be doing the applying for you, imo.
Don't mean to sound rude or anything but in most cases when I hear this question it's a photographer who just wants the credentials to shoot for himself/herself.

Actually, I'm (hopefully) covering the two events for an agency who has commissions on the go for the two events. We get all sorts of stuff, I dont ask questions, but I get the cheques ok!!
Last year I applied for the NFL International as a freelancer but funnily enough I didnt get it. We've already secured commissions for the NBA Euro Live 09 game, and we're working on the NFL, so we're pretty "watertight" for any questions asked.
It's not actually me that has applied for these two, it is the agency on my behalf.
I would re-iterate that NBA and NFL credentials are NOT for anyone just wanting to shoot photos of the pros...they ARE for working media, and that in this case, is me/us!
Hope that clears it up.
