The weather was great Tuesday night & it seemed that everyone was inflicted with end-of-season fever & the parking lot was full, so I was able to get some shots of this nice T-Bird.
Robert has a Corvette the same color. This is his wife's car with the 292cid motor. It was #4 off the assembly line & has all the available power options including factory air.
They've had it for 4 years & only drive it about 100 miles a year.

The old Y block engine. The Tbird even had a cable driven tach. Old days gone bye.

Old days gone bye. Detroit designed some really nice cars back then & now it's hard to tell who made some when they're parked in front of my house. There are some exceptions, but where's the next Lee Iacocca who looks at John Najjar's design & says, "Thats what we're going to build! Don't change a think on it!" going to come from?

Thanks for the comment!

I always liked the baby birds and that is one of the nicer colors they used. Nice set of shots showing what it's like.
