Contact Sheet Software

I'm trying to track down decent software for making Contact Sheets for all my photos, so far I have only played with the one in Photoshop. The problem I have found with it is that it seems to take forever, has large gaps in it, you have to adjust the image size for each folder and then manually add a background and save it.

I went through and did just one months sheets and it took me an hour so any suggestions for something a little more automated would be appreciated.

Absolute best program I've found so far for EVERYTHING to do with your images is CompuPic Pro from Photodex (trial version from www.photodex.com) - the 'Picture index' feature is second to none... and it's the fastest browser I've seen, too...

Close second, for it's friendly interface, is Jasc AfterShot - there's a demo version of that too...
