The last one of them smiling over the counter is excellent, they look very natural. I agree the diner is a great backdrop, wish you had a branch around here, instead of the fake "American" diners we get.

These are WONDERFUL images!! You've got a great eye. As one of my art teachers used to say "these images really work for me". Warm and nostalgic but not hokey. Good job.

Yes, the last one is my favourite too, for many reasons.
One thing that it has over the first one is detail in the window behind them.
If you used a fill flash for #1, you could probably prevent blowing out the window in the background.

Gonna do stock photos of servings? Good colours in bacon, iced donuts etc. Cherry softdrink, sundaes, supersize coloured straws. Wow, its a gold mine. You must have thought about all the other possibilities. IMHO pics of faces eating just never look good, but pics of drinking are usually okay...
