Madeira is a gorgeous green island. Full of stunning green forests, waterfalls, mountains and seascapes. I really liked our time there.
So here are a couple of photos with the 40D. I hope you like them.

I like #2. You really captured the old man's character (grumpy?).

I also like #7. You also captured vastness and solitude in one image.

I like #2. You really captured the old man's character (grumpy?).

I agree with you about the character of the old man in #2. He seemed grumpy indeed. ;)

In #7 I also agree with solitude. We were there completely alone (girl in the photo is my girlfriend). It was a mighty feeling being there, above the clouds with nobody around.

Hello,

That's a very nice collection of photographs there, honestly. I have been to Madeira for a few weeks last year and I can still vividly remember the gorgeous small waterfalls, flowers, litle villages up the hills, groups of old men playing cards and the stunning view above the sea of clouds. I think you've nicely captured this.

I really love all of them, especially the first 4. I've been to Portugal twice but I've never been to Madeira, although I've always wanted to. Great shots
