These are more modern vintage formula Ford and sports racers.
No matter how much I begged they would not run the track in the opposite direction. Then I would have been shooting the front of the cars instead of the back at the only corner that I could shoot.
Same lighting as before, in other words brutal.

Thanks for looking

Sorry Brands, I don't know for sure. I did not have a schedule. Got lost and got there late. They were running a pretty mixed bag throughout the day.

Oh yes, that bottom one is an F5000 alright... a shark amongst the Formula Ford minows  Forget how they look, they sound FANTASTIC. Can't wait for the HSCC Superprix at Brands and the Silverstone Historic Festival when they will have whole field of the beasts going by!

Just for confirmations sake (to keep "Brands" happy) James Hunt Eagle F5000 (http://www.allamericanracers.com/fangal/rich-jenne.html) Almost the same colour scheme, could even be the same car.

Oh, and before I get too carried away, can I say that's a fantastic pan shot! Absolutely bang on! :)

Actually, it looks like it's this one 1975 Gurney Eagle (http://www.deepthrottle.com/Photo/04_lb_v_photo_05.shtml). A very historic car.

You are right. Close examination behind the driver lists that James Hunt dorve this very car in 1974 and Bobby Unser drove it in 1975.
Yeah it was awesome to see and hear.
Thanks for the compliment. It was one of my better efforts.

Really nice pan on the Eagle, I like your second shot too but I think it would be better with the cone cloned out.

Cheers
