I am having a problem when connecting my camera to the computer. I get a message saying:

You cannot open more than one database at a time. Close the database before opening a different one.

I have tried using the database menu command. The RESTORE button is 'grayed' out. I have tried to open a new database but it has failed. I am not sure what is corrupted or how it got that way. I performed an uninstall and then reinstalled the program....same problem persists.

Is this the same problem I have seen posted by others? Thanks for any info you can provide!!

The only way I found to fix this was to move my pictures to a different location, uninstall then delete all the files from the installed location (ie. c:\program files\canon\) then after rebooting re-install it again.

For the last 4 months though I haven't used anything other than Windows Explorer on XP in Thumbnail mode, bit severe but it does the job for me :)
