Starling Hairwash!

Caught this Starling giving itself a wash in a dirty puddle. It looks as if I've applied some sort of motion effect to it's head but this is how the lens captured it. Not the sharpest photo I'll ever take but it raises a smile I think!

Neat pic. Just goes to show how fast these little birds move - no motion blur on the water droplets.

Good shot! I've been trying to a good shot of a bird's bath, but no real luck yet.
