Parameters 1dmk2 ?

i bought this camera last week i only use jpeg's btw and just had a play with the parameter settings.
i put in +5 sharpness and +2 contrast and the images are so much better leading to far less work in photoshop surely this is the way to go with jpegs.

yet so many say no to doing in camera processing my question is why when it saves time and the images look good from out of the camera and just need a little tweaking in PS.

Rob,

Whilst upping the parameters will give you pretty top level Jpegs a lot of people do like post processing and if you're of of a mind to shoot RAW you will probably be knocked out with the results even more after a little tinkering here and there

Thanks and i will try raw at a later stage ,im happy with my jpegs now they have far more bite now.
