I'm still learning! Both taken with a Canon point & shoot!

I really like the second shot. The far off color of the hills and the sky. That is awsome.

Tip: Get a digital SLR
Reason: These photos (particularly #1) show talent. It would be worth it to see if you can build on that talent with more capable equipment.

..easy for me to say since it's not my money, huh LOL :-)

Keep posting. These are very nice photographs.

Agree with ayotnoms, you have a talent Lisa.

Love both photos, especially the second.

I know, I was almost set to buy a Rebel here but now am wondering if I should really take the plunge to a 20D as it seems like an inevitable purchase anyhow. I already have a lens wish list too. Lisa now going to water the money tree in the backyard.

nice shots. i think the second one is really nice, but something bothers me about the bottom of the image...so i thought i'd crop it for you and see what i thought then. i like it a bit better, but it's still not bang on. but you get the idea. hope you don't mind me cropping it, i will remove if you ask.

No, thanks I do agree with you about the crop. I was almost tempted to cut out that yellow portion of the dock too! I like your version!

No, don't crop out the yellow portion.....with that, the picture looks more vivid.

Nice job and keep posting.
