Need to get back into things

So as the people who remember my I did a shoot just over a year ago and I have never really posted since. Well the reason behind that is for some strange reason my wife at the time flipped out on me after she said it was ok to shoot a model. So ever since I have not really been motivated to shot.

So now I am divorced (long story and not related to photography) and could really use some friends from the community to help get me back out of this shell and back shooting. So the question is, is there anyone in the Inland Empire that would allow me to tag along on some shoots and help out? I think the inspiration and environment may help and I would love to meet some people in the community in my area since I just moved back to SoCal from Colorado.

Just wanted to say hey since you've had a few views but no responses yet. Sorry to hear about the divorce. I'm in So Cal and am just starting to pursue more shooting opps myself. Hope you find some photog groups in your area and get back out there soon.

Yea its hard trying to get motivated right now which is why I figured I would post this. I think if I start hanging out with photogs again and see a few shoots maybe I will jump back in but every time I plan just to go and shoot something anything at all I tend to never pick up my camera.

I guess there are no other shutter bugs in the forum in your area. There are some local classes where I live and I figure I'll go to pick up some tips and hopefully hit it off with some other shooters.

There HAS to be some photography meet-ups in your area. Try looking in the POTN Member Activities (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=80) forum. Hope that helps.

check out the local strobist groups as well. They tend to have a decent amount of people that get together.

Wow I cant believe how long its been since I have been on this site. Well I spent the rest of last year not shooting do to not really being inspired to pick up my camera. But this year I have friends knocking on my door to shoot some nice stuff of them so I am not starting to get back into the normal creative vibe. So expect to see some stuff out of me this year. Thank you everyone for your help last year and if anyone in my area needs some help let me know as I would enjoy making some photog friends in SoCal.

You could also try meetup.com. I've found more than a few photog groups in my rather close area- within 75 miles.
