... blooming . Not yet really but the movements they do is
amazing.
Click on the link at the bottom of the post to get the movie.
This represents 8 hours , one picture beeing taken by my G3 each 10minutes.
The pain is to stack the pictures in layers ( I have'nt figured out yet a way to
have an action doing that) but the result is worth it.
Let me know what you think.

This is really interesting. Very nice job. I believe remote capture with the 300D allows timed shots. It should be easy to capture. But putting it together must be a real pain. Neat result though. Something definitely to try. How did you deal with the background? They look like they are dancing...

Hey JoseC, very cool.
I happen to enjoy tinkering with "stop motion" animation. There are a lot of tools out there that will let you put something like this together super-easy after you've got the image captures. Here's a list of some of the apps out there for this sort of thing:

Enjoy!

I am very sorry, but I posted the "final product" in the section "nature and animals".

I have also another orchid movie going on with a better interval time and the a more closed flower.
I'll post this new one ... may be tomorrow, because I have automated everything in photoshop and making the movie is no more a pain.
Best Regards

Well you can actually do it with nearly any camera, it is just easier with some. A lot of cameras can be attached to a computer and some stop motion software can be used to take the photos. I think some cameras however have a time lapse function built in.
