s45 battery meter

is there a battery meter?
if there is, i cant find it.

its frustrating to see the red battery icon flash only MINUTES before it completely dies..

not asking for help.. just releasing my frustration.. hehe

Oh for a battery meter!

The _Sony_ cameras tell you how many minutes left until it's empty! (Funny, that's one of its better features...)

Come on canon.. surely you can put it in the firmware!

Yeah i know. I mean my previous camera was a Sony, and then having chosen the S40 as an upgrade to that it was quite annoying being blinded from something which was quite important!
