Fireworks (3 pics)

Went to our country's theme park today. They usually cap off the day with a display of fireworks. These are just few of my attempts to get shots of the fireworks... :)

just a tip (no offence intended) i used to always try and shoot fireworks with my little point and shooter

i used to get up on the roof, and i'd get the most photos during the very start of the show so there is less smoke, i tend to think that the smoke ruins the beauty of them
and i'd use a tripod and continuous shot
then, when i'm happy with the shots i've got, i'd photograph the last of the fireworks with slow shutter, and play around with the swirls they make.

it's LOTS of fun, and i can't wait till my area's next festival :D

None taken. :) Actually, this is the first time I took shots of fireworks. I have no tripod with me and am in a place where I am shoulder to shoulder with other people watching the "show". Have to make do with a high ISO. Would like to see how your pics came out with the slow shutter you mentioned...
