I shot these two with the 100-400 plus the 1.4x, they are well camoulflaged on the weeds.

I love the first one! The second one is great too, but my fav of the two is #1. Great job!

WOW! Second time today someone has made great macro use of a big lens. I am wondering why I bought at macro lens at all. Both are fantastic shots, the first guy looks like a helicopter, I love the way he is holding the branch like a joystick control. But my vote goes to the second for the wings. Amazing shots.

Like Paulhillion said in another thread "wild birds ain't easy" after three plus hours trekking around the hills trying to get a decent bird shot I stopped and took the dragonflies, I was too lazy and tired to change lenses. Yeah I wonder why I bought the macro myself (just kidding, I love the macro).
