Just messing around the apartment with new IS lens. I adjusted levels a bit and cropped out some of the other random junk that was in the original.

I have maybe shot 10 pictures on the camera (busy with beginning of senior year of college) and am still getting used to the camera. I only have experience with manual controls using 35mm film cameras and that was quite a few years ago and with canon XL2 video camera's. After really looking at this it's not as abstract as I had hoped, more desperately trying to be artistic and not knowing my tools. Thank you for the comments. I will be shooting a lot more now so I will post them as I get a chance.

Now that you have bared your soul, a suggestion.

Concentrate on the technology instead of the aesthetics until you have learned to use your tools. Amongst the various technology issues that apply to any and all cameras is the lighting.
