Sleeping beauty

Playing with the exposure adjustments on my camera and I looked over to see my Basset hound in a typical state (asleep).

When the sun is too bright, she'll toss her head and flop an ear over her eyes.

Both shots are good, but I preffer the second one!

I think both of these are really excellent. For me the cropped one is a bit too tight ... I'd like to see it cropped such that the shadows of all of the mutton bars are showing on the carpet. Maybe 'cause I like the feeling it would give to know there is enough sunshine to join him for a snooze.

I really like the ear over the eye to keep out the light!
